Terms & Conditions – Imagine United

Business Name: Imagine United
1. Original Artwork
All artworks sold by Imagine United are original, hand-painted works created by Adelindra Meijer, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Transfer of Ownership
Upon purchase, the collector acquires physical ownership of the artwork only.
The intellectual property rights, including copyright, remain at all times with the artist, Adelindra Meijer.
3. Copyright & Usage Rights
The artist retains full copyright of the artwork in accordance with international copyright law.
This includes, but is not limited to, the exclusive right to:
- Reproduce the artwork in any format
- Create prints, merchandise, or publications
- Use images of the artwork for exhibitions, promotion, or archival purposes
- License the image to third parties
Purchase of the artwork does not grant the buyer any reproduction or commercial usage rights.
4. Prohibition of Reproduction
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Reproduce, scan, copy, or print the artwork
- Use the artwork image for commercial purposes
- Create derivative works based on the artwork
- Mint the artwork as NFTs or use it in digital assets
- Use the artwork for branding, advertising, or merchandise
Written permission from the artist is required for any such use.
5. Display Rights
Collectors are welcome to display the artwork in private homes or non-commercial spaces.
Public display, publication, or commercial exhibition requires prior written consent from the artist.
6. Artist’s Moral Rights
The artist retains the moral right to be credited as the creator of the work at all times.
The artwork may not be altered, modified, or reframed in a way that changes its integrity without consent.
7. Image Use by the Artist
The artist reserves the right to photograph, document, and reproduce the artwork for portfolio use, exhibitions, publications, website, social media, and archival purposes, even after sale.
8. Resale
If the collector chooses to resell the artwork, proper attribution to the artist must remain intact.
The artwork may not be resold as part of merchandise or reproductions.
9. Authenticity
Each artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
10. Agreement
By purchasing an artwork, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
11. Returns & Refunds
Due to the unique and original nature of the artworks, all sales are considered final.
Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted once the artwork has been delivered, except in the unlikely event that the artwork arrives damaged.
If damage occurs during shipping, the buyer must notify Imagine United within 48 hours of delivery, including photographic evidence of the damage and packaging, so that an insurance claim can be initiated.
